Class Notes - Class 18 (Friday, October 19, 2001)

The purpose of class today was to begin to learn the TRAFFIX software tool to conduct traffic impact studies.  Topics covered during the class include:

  • setting up scenarios for TRAFFIX
  • building a network with intersections, links, zones (trip generators), and gates (external sources and sinks for trips)
  • running and evaluating scenarios
