The Winter Road Management Project is sponsored by the American Trucking Associations

and the National Institute for Advanced Transportation Technology at the University of Idaho.

The goals of the project are to compare the costs and benefits of using chemicals to prevent and

remove ice from roadways and to develop guidelines for reducing potential vehicle corrosion.
