Project Leader - Best Management Practices (BMPs)

Stacy Smith, a graduate of the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Environmental Science and a B.A. in Spanish, worked at the T2 Center for five years while earning her degrees.

Stacy headed up the Best Management Practices (BMPs) for Maintaining the Rural Roads of Idaho project. 

Stacy and Doug worked with various state and federal agencies to create a set of environmentally sensitive methods of maintaining the gravel and paved roads around the state.  A set of training programs as well as a BMPs manual are being used in the field.
