Welcome to the Human Powered Vehicle Project Website
The Human Powered Vehicle Project is an American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) sponsored design competition with the simple objective of designing, constructing, and driving a high-performance bicycle against other universities. The University of Idaho sent out two design teams to the competition that took place at the University of California-Davis from April 25-27, 2003. We are one of them - HPV 2, also known as the Nerds on Tricycles.
