Your task is to conduct and document a Meta to assess the safety of
roundabouts. The initial dataset includes 12 studies conducted in 12 sates that
included a before and after safety analysis for roundabouts. The followings
should be part of the projects tasks:
- summarize the characteristics of the studies included in the initial
study list
- Define a clear set of study inclusion criteria
- Determine and plot the mean (and SD) of the estimate of effect of each
study
- Determine the statistical weight of the mean estimate of each study
- Identify outliers, if any using the box plot and the mean of all data
except one methods
- Plot a funnel graph of results
- Document the output in a report that includes your conclusion regarding
the potential safety benefits of roundabouts.
