Welcome

Welcome to the Traffic Flow Theory [CE571] web site. This web site will serve as the repository for all materials that will be used during this course. This site is a dynamic forum to communicate with students throughout the semester. Please use the navigation bar on the left margin or the link bar by the end of the page to view various pages in this site.

The topics that will be covered during the semester, the context in which these topics will be covered, and the objectives that I have established for you are included in the overview and objectives page. The class schedule provides the links to the information that will be covered during each class, as well as key dates for design reports and examinations. The resources that are available to you for this course include electronic materials available from this web site and from other sites that you can access via the Internet.  I have established a clear set of expectations for the work that you do during the class and how we will work together during the semester. You can reach me or other students in the class through the contact information provided on the web site.

I look forward to working with each of you as you learn about traffic flow theory concepts and applications.

Ahmed Abdel-Rahim, Ph.D., P.E.
