NIATT Purchasing Card Regulations
Keep in mind that all but one of the NIATT purchasing cards have a limit (no purchases over $500). To use that card, you must be able to justify the purchase. In most cases, we recommend that the purchase be done by a purchase order so that the item is received before payment is made.

Be aware of these UI regulations

Buying food on campus (pdf)
When traveling, UI employees can "eat"--reimbursement is done by per diem. You can not purchase and get reimbursed for food for someone with whom you meet, since those people are not in "travel status." Questions? Call Debbie.
Direct billing (presenting a bill for a purchase already made) is no longer an option on the UI campus. Purchases must be made either by purchasing card or by purchase orders. Purchase orders are quick! See Debbie--have address; phone number and fax number of vendor with you.
